A Bit About Me. In order to pursue a career in publishing, I’ve taken the plunge and moved to NYC. I love thinking and discussing books and hope you’ll join me.

A Bit About the Site. This is where I write about anything remotely related to the industry–from book reviews, to favorite reading nooks, to my take on major events. Okay, and the occasional mention of dogs… or cats… or anything fuzzy, really.

I’m juggling a few different projects. For ease of navigation they each have their own page where links to posts have been compiled. If you’re confused as to what the headers mean, here is a quick explanation:

A Quick Note. I strongly believe in the power of safe spaces and I want this site to be one. Towards that end I make an effort to include trigger warnings in my book reviews. Please realize that trigger warnings are still a relatively new thing and that what triggers you may be highly individual. I do my best but of course am open to feedback on how to make my reviews more helpful for you.

Finally, the Shelfie. I’m an eclectic reader. I tend to gravitate towards romance, YA, middle grade, sci-fi/fantasy, and historical fiction, but that’s not all I read.
